After work on Friday, I kicked off my Father's Day weekend by heading out to the Owego Strawberry Festival for dinner, drinks, and entertainment with a bunch of cool bands.

We visited each stage and watched three or four songs from the band that was on stage at the time, and then moved on to the next stage. We made our way to all three stages a couple of times.

Saturday after work, Chris and I went golfing with Ian. I didn't play all that well, but I still enjoyed the time with my wife and my stepson. Ian by the way, had his first ever birdie on the par 5 8th hole at En-Joie. No bad for someone who only golfed three times last year and I think this was only his second for third time out this year.

Saturday night we went out for a dinner with a couple of friends of ours, and then we went to see a band play where we ran into a couple of old friends that I haven't seen in years.

Sunday morning we got up early and went to church, and then went up to Mountain Top Grove for their annual Father's Day Clambake. There was light rain falling for the first two and a half hours of the event, but people didn't seem to mind.

We had a great time there with John, Ian's dad, Ian, and a couple of our friends and some of their kids as well.

All in all I had a great Father's Day weekend and I hope you did too.
