I Am The Fixer

I like to help people realize their dreams. It's almost an obsession with me. I see potential and I plot and plan on how to help friends and family get there. I have decided to broaden the scope and help you too.

First, I have to tell you why I am this way. My Mom rocked. She knew I had a unique mindset that didn't fit in with the rest of the family. And she encouraged it. At age 4 when I wanted to be a singer and disc jockey, she gave me albums and a radio. Heck, she sang with the Metropolitan Opera in High School, so why couldn't her girl do anything she wanted?

The bummer was when she died. I was 14 and just starting to spread my wings. Instead of listening to what I "couldn't" do from others, I took the lessons she taught me and ended up doing some crazy cool things. I was a summer nanny for the kids of a Today show anchor, and then for an actor's kid. I sang in talent shows and with anyone who would let me. Then I hounded a radio station so much that they handed me a job.

I didn't let the negativity stop me. Now it's my mission to not let it stop you. Why shouldn't you live your dream? There is always a way around obstacles. And age is no obstacle, by the way.
