High School Football Is Back in The Southern Tier
I have been a big fan of high school football since I became a band manager so I could go to all our school's games. My school, Rancocas Valley Regional HS in New Jersey, had football royalty in it. The great Franco Harris of the Pittsburgh Steelers went there and led the team to unbelievable seasons (his Mom lived next door to the school). And Irving Fryar was also a player for us.
I know the tradition here is just as rich, so it's time to celebrate the kids and their accomplishments. This is the first time these players, these kids, get to show their talent and competitive spirit. WE get to watch that transformation and learning experience.
