Spidey fans rejoice-- The superhero will be swinging into another film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Variety and several other news outlets are reporting that Sony and Marvel have struck a deal which will see one final Spiderman movie be made.

The report states that the movie will feature Tom Holland as Spiderman for a third time, and will be a continuation of the "Spiderman: Homecoming" series.

All this comes after a pretty messy breakup between Sony and Disney, Marvel Studios' parent company.

Sony owns the rights to Spiderman, and a deal had allowed the recent Spiderman movies to be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but Disney and Sony could not come to a deal in summer 2019 over a new deal. The whole setup can be a little confusing, but Collider does a wonderful job here of breaking it down.

The upcoming movie already has a scheduled release date of July 16, 2021, Variety reports.
