Bethel Woods Hosts Festival Showcasing Diverse Musical Talents
Summer is a season filled with so many things to see and do. From long weekends to vacations, visiting parks, catching a concert, and just relaxing in your backyard on a warm, sunny day with a book and the radio playing your favorite tunes, it's just a fun time of the year to enjoy.
Here's something you may be interested in attending this summer. Bethel Woods Center for the Arts and Daniel’s Music Foundation have put together a one-day music festival at Bethel Woods - Hello Inclusion: A Festival of Possibilities.
The festival will be on Friday, July 25, 20205, from 1 to 5 p.m., and will feature musicians with disabilities, inclusive activities from dance parties and drum circles to an interactive mural plus sensory-friendly devices, accessible instruments, and exhibits.
We’re proud to welcome Hello Inclusion back to Bethel Woods alongside our incredible partners at Daniel’s Music Foundation. This festival captures the spirit of our roots through joy, self-expression and community, creating a space where everyone can connect through music. - Eric Frances, CEO of Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.
According to the Bethel Woods announcement, Hello Inclusion: A Festival of Possibilities will be presented on the Horizon Stage on the campus of Bethel Woods, featuring a diverse lineup of six artists.
Admission is free, charge, but registration is required to attend. More information about Hello Inclusion: A Festival of Possibilities and how to reserve tickets can be found here.
Bethel Woods carries a powerful cultural legacy of social impact and creating connections through music. Our goal is to create a meaningful experience that brings people together and showcases the talent within our community. - Ken Trush, DMF Co-Founder & Managing Director.
The Trush Family founded Daniel’s Music Foundation in 2006, providing access to music for people with disabilities.
