This Saturday, July 27th... check out the first annual Greater Greene Great Big Yard Sale, from 8 to 3 at the Great American Plaza, S. Chenango St in Greene.  And organizers are hoping that it will grow to become as big, or bigger than the annual Greene Craft Fair, which is being held the same day.

People will be walking Genesee Street in Greene, looking for hand crafted quilts, jewelry, wood-worked items? You will find em on the main drag in downtown Greene.

Now if you are looking for real bargains, collectibles and what not, you will find these around the corner at the Great American Plaza. This is the first ever Greene community yard sale, and it's all in one place and with lots and lots of parking.

Furniture and tools, cd's and books, nick knacks, tires and appliances. It's a good bet you will find all that and more at the 1st annual Greater Greene Great Big Yard Sale, Saturday July 27th. Plus there's also a chicken barbecue to help raise funds for the local JRC.

The cost is $10 for a 10x10 spot and you can just show up with your 'Garage Gear,' anytime between 6 and 8 AM. But if you get there late, they won't turn you away.

So bring out your coffee tables and your beanbag chairs, your dishes and your motorized bar stool, there's someone who wants your stuff, at the first annual Greater Greene Great Big Yard Sale
