Another sign that the pandemic is receding is the High school and College graduation celebrations are coming back.

In addition to families celebrating the graduation milestones this summer, some of the high school will be holding socially distanced proms and outdoor celebrations.

Binghamton will hold their prom on June 11th and Union Endicott will have their prom this weekend.

Susquehanna Valley High School will hold a Senior Parade on June 12th featuring the class of 2021.

The parade will begin at Schnurbusch Park and will feature the individual seniors in vehicles that will drive down main street as the parade of graduates travel along Conklin Road.

The Susquehanna Valley Senior Prom will be Friday June 18th and the school will hold a graduation ceremony on June 25th at the high school stadium, with each graduate allowed four guest a piece, keeping the attendance to under 500 people.

Several local high schools will follow, and many will be honored with celebrations from their family and friends

Johnson City High School will hold graduations on June 27th and while most institutions maintain COVID safety protocols, and as more and more students get vaccinated, the celebrations are coming back.

Band concerts and more events will open up as we get into the fall semester.
