The Binghamton Devils Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Achieve will be held Monday, October 8th at the beautiful Links at Hiawatha Landing in Apalachin.

I Golfed in this tournament last year and had a great time. Each team gets to play with a member of the Binghamton Devils. Last year my wife Chris and I played on a team with one of my co-workers Glen Pitcher and his father. Our Pro was right winger Nathan Bastian. We had a great time. The tournament included lunch, dinner, golf, a goodie bag, and plenty of coolers on the course filled with soda, beer, and water.

Not only do you get to play golf on one of the nicest courses in the area, but you also get to play with a professional athlete on your team, and help out a great non-profit organization right here in Binghamton. Achieve provides services to individuals with intellectual, Developmental, and other disabilities in Broome, Chenango, and Tioga counties.

The cost is $800 per team which includes everything listed above as well as 20 vouchers good for a 2018-2019 regular-season Binghamton Devils game. There are other sponsorship opportunities available as well including hole sponsorships and more. If you would like more information on the tournament or sponsorship opportunities, contact Shari Caudell at (607) 231-5271 or by email scaudell@achieveny.org.

The Binghamton Devils will open their season at home Saturday, October 6th against The defending Calder Cup champions, The Toronto Marlies.
