According to information supplied by the AHA 80 percent of cardiac disease can be prevented. Cardiac disease remains the greatest health threat to women. The American Heart Association urges three platforms for maintaining or increasing better heart health. They include:
Move more
Eat Smart
Manage Blood Pressure

Go Red for Women is sponsored nationally by CVS Health.

Following the Go Red For Women movement the Southern Tier Chapter of the American Heart Association turns its attention to the 30th anniversary Heart Walk scheduled for Sunday, April 7 at SUNY Broome. The AHA is encouraging participants of all ages to take part in the event, contribute to those who walk or make direct contributions to the American Heart Association.
