The New York Giants ended their season with a 35-30 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, making it the seventh time they lost by five points or less this season.

The epitaph on the Giants 2015 season will read 'They Couldn't Finish Games'

This is a team that has been banged up all year, and maybe I'm too close to the team, but it just seems like that's the case each year.

It's like watching a movie with a sad twist at the end, we show promise most of the game and then the fourth quarter kills us.

I've asked several of my family and friends what they think is wrong with the Giants this year, and it's a combination of things, some blame Eli Manning, the defense, others the injuries, and some point to the coaching staff for the bad play selections.

I think they're all valid points, but the Giants defense was probably the worst culprit, allowing team after team to march down the field and score.

JPP disappointed a great deal of people this season, and who was the guy that could have stopped Cam Newton on that third down play, trying to grab him with one hand and a club, that ended in a game losing touchdown.

Eli Manning is still a great quarterback, he threw for 4,436 yards and a career-high 35 touchdowns this season, and I believe he could take us to another Superbowl.

The big question at the moment is who will coach the Giants next season?

Tom Coughlin hasn't made any comments yet, but he has indicated he's not ready to stop doing anything, which makes me think he will coach again next season, even if the Giants let him go.

I don't blame him for this season, and I would not be disappointed if he came back for another year.

The Giants finish in third place in the NFC East with another losing record of 6 and 10.

So now we wait in hopes of a better season next September.

Go Giants!
