The New York Giants led most of the way but costly penalties and turnovers including an interception thrown by Eli Manning ended with a 29-27 loss to the Redskins on Sunday.

The Giants struck early and led by the entire first half of the game, before unraveling with a series of penalties including an unnecessary roughness penalty, one that nullified a blocked punt that would have given the Giants the ball inside the 20 yard line.

The Giants clearly lost their focus with eleven penalties for 128 yards including an ejection of their Center Weston Richburg for two un-sportsman like conduct penalties.

The Redskins pulled a fake punt that led to another score, and Eli Manning threw a pass for tight end Will Tye and was intercepted in the end zone by Quinton Dunbar.

Big Blue shot themselves in the foot once again, this was a game that should have won.

Coach McAdoo said it was a lesson he hopes this team will take into the upcoming week and beyond.

All three of the Giants games in this 2016 season have been decided by two points or less, you can't say they're not exciting games.

I have learned that you can never assume your team is going to win easily against any team.
