So recently, on my personal e-mail I have been getting some very strange e-mails. Two main kinds of strange e-mails.

1) I keep getting e-mails that say "Congratulations! Your getting married!" I am? Well damn, I don't even have a ring or a future husband yet so you shocked the heck out of me.

I did attend a bridal show for my sister who is getting married in the future and somehow since I registered for the show, I keep getting all of these e-mails. Now not only is this depressing but, having worked as a DJ for weddings for several years, people that I actually know are sending me e-mails. So now, I have to explain to those people that no, I am not engaged and thank you for reminding me that my younger sister is getting married and her two older siblings are still single. (Tom, maybe we can cry together or go Fulton aka incest).

2) Now this type of e-mail, I have absolutely no explanation for. Someone is sending me e-mails as if I have a child on their soccer team. No, I will not be working your concession stand and no I will not bring little Timmy to practice Thursday. I don't think I have any kids yet but I mean, I guess it could have happened without me knowing? Highly unlikely unless it was a toilet baby. In which case, I would have to disown it either way.

3) Last but not least, I keep receiving e-mails for okcupid.com and match.com. Now, this I kind of have an explanation for but it is probably not even close to what you are thinking. Last fall, I decided it would be funny to create a profile on a dating website to mess with a friend I knew was on it. The problem was, I wasn't sure which one he was on, so I started with match.com for some reason and eventually just decided to ask him rather then filling out all this ridiculous information. Turns out, he was on okcupid.

Now, you might think, "Oh Holly, you're single now so that's great! Now you can use it to your advantage!" Wrong. I filled out the interests of my friend I was trying to joke with which include anime, body building and video games. If you have ever spoken to me then you could probably guess I have absolutely no interest in anime or video games. So with that being said, the people that these websites are trying to hook me up with are not my type at all. Also, I don't typically like younger men but since my friend was 22, I put that I would date people younger than me. Thus, the problems keep adding up.

No, I do not want to play Call of Duty with you and draw strange Japanese anime characters. Sorry, not my thing.
