We've all been enjoying the steady decline in gas prices these last two months, right?  It's what we dreamed of for years! The party stops South of the Border on Thursday.

Thanks to the multi-billion dollar transportation bill that was passed in Pennsylvania in 2013, there will be a ten cent increase in price at the pump.

Apparently, the state's uncapping another third of its oil company franchise tax, hence the affect on us. The change could have a large impact on Hallstead which has become a weekend stop for many New York natives who liked the cheaper gas.

As I was writing this, I noted that some of my friends down South are bragging about gas for $1.84 a gallon. Seriously?? Will we see gas below $2 a gallon? We can only hope.
