It started as an off-the-cuff conversation off-air and then it turned into this. We were talking off the air about what movie comes on TV that you just have to stop and watch. For me, it's "Elf" or "Groundhog Day."

Traci's answer is "Overboard. I have to admit that I stop to watch Overboard too...The one with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, not the lousy remake. Bubb bubb bubb bubb, maybe she's hungry. That line gets me every time.

We asked you on Facebook are the ones you need to drop everything and watch when it's on TV.

Here of some of the best responses:

Favorite Movies To Watch On TV

Tammy from Windsor: Practical Magic with Sandra Bullock. (Glenn) That wouldn't even be in my top 5 Sandra Bullock movie picks.

Lori from Berkshire: Blind Side. (Glenn) That's a better Bullock movie but Speed is the best.

Brandi from Mt. Upton: The Heat with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. (Glenn) I'm sensing a Bullock trend and none of you said "Speed" so you're all wrong.

Seth from Binghamton: Caddyshack. (Glenn) If you're not watching Chevy Chase in Groundhog Day, at least you picked another great Chase classic movie.

Debbie from Chenango Bridge: Money Pit with Shelly Long and Tom Hanks. (Glenn) That movie wouldn't even be in my top ten Tom Hanks films. I think the reason that Debbie picked it is because it's never on TV so she never has to stop to watch it.

Robert from parts unknown: Escape from New York with Kurt Russell (Glenn) It's no Overboard but it's a start. Also sounds like a wish more than a movie.

Jennifer McKee from Greene: Roadhouse with Patrick Swayze. (Glenn) It's not "Red Dawn" or "Dirty Dancing" but one of the cast members is from the Southern Tier of New York but I have no idea who she is.

So what movie do you have to stop and watch on TV?
