The New York Knicks may not have the key players they require to win a championship, or make the playoffs this year, but the new look team has become competitive. They have won four of their last five, including an impressive win (100-92) over the OKC Thunder last night.

The garden was alive with cheering and applause for a team that a week ago, couldn't get out of its own way.

A big part of the Knicks turnaround is from the energy and commitment the team is getting from acquisitions, Langston Galloway, Lance Thomas and Lou Amundson.

If you're a Knicks fan, you have to be pleased with the direction that Phil Jackson is taking this team. Dumping JR Smith and Shumpert who in my opinion didn't seem up for the team rebuild.

I think Jason Smith and Cole Aldrich have bought into the triangle offense, and Jose Calderon along with Tim Hardaway Jr, have both come alive to help Carmello Anthony with some much needed points.

The Knicks have pulled out of the cellar at the moment, and at 9 and 37 are percentages above the 76ers.

Go Knicks!
