The New York Knicks' President of Basketball Operations, the coaches and many faces on the team roster are all new, but one thing that is consistent is the lack of team defense.

The Knicks are 3 and 10 and one of the worst teams in the league less then 20 games into the season.

They seem to think that shooting the ball well is going to win games, but if you’re allowing your opponents to shoot uncontested shots most of the game, you’re going to be a team that no one respects.

Tuesday night the Knicks were down 26 points to the Milwaukee Bucks when they decided to play defense. They were a better team with that mindset as they pulled up to within 2 points with seconds remaining. In the end, they lost the game.

Last night they were beat by the Minnesota Timber Wolves, who by the way, was short three regular starters.

They host the worst team in the league, the win less Philadelphia Sixers, on Saturday night, where they hope to have two starters back in the game.

Their lack of defensive effort has put them in a hole and at this point, it will be hard to dig themselves out. Coaches can teach defense, but the ones out on the court have to play it!
