Hey New York! It looks like we still have a team playing for an NBA championship! The Brooklyn Nets have even the series against the Atlanta Hawks with an exciting, 120-115, overtime win in front of the hometown fans at the Barclays Center.

Deron Williams had 35 points and helped his team win back to back games against the NBA Eastern Conference leading Hawks.

I had picked the Cleveland Cavaliers as the team to win the east this year, but I have to back peddle on this because I would love to see Brooklyn advance.

The Nets are the underdogs being the eighth seed, and it's only been done 4 times since the first round went to a seven game series. The 1999 New York Knicks took their eight seed playoff team to the finals, but eventually lost to the Spurs.

This series is now a battle, with both teams winning two games apiece. I think the Nets have figured something out here, so for now I'm going with my heart.

Game 6 shifts back to Atlanta on Saturday.

Go Nets!
