Doug’s New York Knicks Sports Rap

Ok so I have been a Knick fan for decades so I feel I have the right to speak my mind. In retrospect, from the end of the Ewing era when we made the playoffs every year and consistently had a winning season for well over a decade.

The beginning of this disappointed drought started when Pat Riley left the organization because management wouldn't give him the autonomy he felt he needed to make the team better, to make key draft choices and acquire free agents that would ultimately strengthen the team as contenders and bring us some titles.

Pat went to Miami where they gave him control and we all know what's going on there, 3 NBA titles (06, 11& 12) 4 conference titles and 10 division titles.

The thing about being a sports fan is we all have our own opinion, when you have a basketball team with management that keeps putting a band aide on the situation each season and replacing it with another the next year, you have the New York Knicks.

I am a true fan, I love this team, but I'm so tired of watching Carmello Anthony get his head band knocked sideways from the continuous  hacks, bumps, and slaps as he exhausts every ounce of energy trying to score points while the other 4 stand around watching , hell I'm doing that from my sofa at home for free. If he (Camello) wants a title he's better off taking his talents somewhere else, even Brooklyn would be a better choice.

Someone once said the Knicks are the worse managed team in the league, that's not a crack on Woodson, but the guy is NOT getting through to these guys.

Spring is coming I would love to see some clean ups ,starting with the lousy management right down to the lazy entitled so called superstars. How long will this BS go on????
