Deep Purple’s ‘Smoke On The Water’ At The 2006 Montreux Festival [VIDEO]

It was on this date, December 3rd, 1971 when the Montreux Casino in Switzerland burned down.
Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention were performing.

Deep Purple was the opening act, and of course, penned the song 'Smoke on the Water' referring to the fire.
Fast forward to 2006 and the closing night of the 40th Montreux Festival, and the headliner was Deep Purple, who did a kick ass version of the song.
