COVID-19 Claims Two More at Willow Point Nursing Home

New York reported three new deaths and 545 new cases of COVID-19 on day 156 of the pandemic. 

Meanwhile, Broome County announced two more Willow Point Nursing Home residents had died, bringing the county death toll to 69. Both of those residents were said to be in their 80s. There were eight additional cases Sunday for a total of one-thousand ten coronavirus positive tests in Broome County. 

Chenango County reports five additional positive tests for the coronavirus since Friday, bringing the total to 211.  There have been 7 deaths.  Delaware remained unchanged at 96 cases and six deaths while Tioga County added one positive result for the coronavirus for a total of 197 since the start of the pandemic and 25 deaths. 

For the first time since mid-March when Pennsylvania's death toll stood at one, no county in the commonwealth reported a death August 3.
