In 1977 on this day, Pink Floyd came out with their 10th album. That's amazing to think a band that's still together, had already produced that many albums 38 years ago.

The album was named 'Animals' and flew up the US charts, peaking at the number 3 spot. In the UK, 'Animals' reached one notch higher on their album chart. The cover of the album features an inflatable pig floating over the Battersea A and B Power Station in London, England. That power station has quite a history of it's own. It's long been out of commission with plans to redevelop portions of the building and surrounding land. At one point, an amusement park was in the works, but never came to be.
