December 3rd was an eventful day for the Rolling Stones in 1964 and 1965. One great, one not so great.

In 1964, the Stones version of 'Little Red Rooster' became number one in the United Kingdom, It was their second UK hit, and on this day in 1965, during a show in Sacramento, California, Keith Richards was knocked out when his guitar made contact with the mike, causing an electric shock.

Let's go with the good event, and enjoy the Rolling Stones performing 'Little Red Rooster' back in 1964, for our Classic Rock Pick of the Week!
