Classic Rock Pick of the Week – Lynyrd Skynyrd [WATCH]

This week's Classic Rock Pick is one of my favorite Lynyrd Skynyrd tunes.

Even though it's not from the original line-up of the band, I think those from that amazing group of talented musicians would be proud of the band that wrote, produced and played on this particular song.

The tune I am referring to, is Red, White & Blue. It is featured on the album 'Vicious Cycle', released in 2003. When I first heard the song, it gave me chills. Such a patriotic song and is also a great tribute to those who work and fight to protect us both home and abroad.

The song was written not long after September 11th, 2001. While the song is amazing, the video really brings it home. Take a moment to watch this week's Classic Rock Pick - Lynyrd Skynyrd's Red, White & Blue.
