February 2nd, 1966, Bob Dylan began a concert tour in Louisville, Kentucky, using electric instruments.

His first venture into the electric world began at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965. Many of his fans were not pleased that Dylan had 'plugged in.' I think most are over it by now. Watch this cool video of Bob Dylan at the Newport Folk Festival.
