Christmas Card Guilt

Only 39% of Americans send Christmas cards and it seems like my friends and family are most of them! I generally don't mail them out, but now I feel guilty and feel like I should.

The question is: should I? They will get there just on time or late. The dilemma also leads me to think that I am not the only one with this problem. So now I ask you. Do you feel obligated to send cards or even gifts to someone that gives you one unexpectedly?

Now that Tom and I have 3 grandchildren to spoil, our holiday spending budget has changed. It's more kid leaning. And tighter. We didn't leave any wiggle room for additions, but I guess we have to next year!

I guess my question deserves an answer. I will go ahead and mail a couple of cards tomorrow. If more come after that, I suppose I will send a "belated" card.

These kinds of things make the holidays just a little more stressful. It's time for the group scream. Yell with me!!
