Chenango Forks Honors Their Class C State Champions.

This past Saturday, 99.1 the Whale was part of the celebration parade honoring the 2013 Class C State Champion Chenango Forks Blue Devils. We (Don Morgan and I) followed the players and coaching staff through the streets around the high school as several fans, friends, and family members held up signs and cheered as the team passed by.

A magical season for so many reasons;

MVP Isaiah Zimmer's three touchdowns for 175-total yards, including the go ahead touchdown, part of a 70 yard 4^th quarter drive which sealed the deal on the Forks 3^rd NYSPHSAA Championship.

Quarterback John Colm Sweeney’s 30-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Ziegenfus.

The Blue Devil’s Big D with 4:02 left in the game which denied Rye Neck's two-point conversion attempt.

To all the players, coach Hogan and his staff, students and faculty, congratulations on a truly memorable season and thank you for including Binghamton’s Classic Rock Station 991 the Whale!
