Pitt defeated Northern Illinois on Monday night to up their record to 8-3.  Pitt is a member of the ACC and Binghamton is 1-7 all-time versus ACC teams.  Binghamton defeated the University of Miami in 2006 in Coral Gables for its lone ACC win.

Following tonight's game the Bearcats don't play again until Sunday, December 29 at 2 PM when they host Hartwick College at the Events Center.  That will close out BU's non-conference portion of the schedule.
