The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team visits the University of Pittsburgh Panthers tonight (Friday) at the Petersen Events Center.  The Panthers and Bearcats meet for just the second time.  Pitt defeated Binghamton in November of 2009 after the Bearcats lost four starters due to disciplinary issues prior to the start of the season.

The Bearcats are 5-6 following their road loss at Youngstown State on Wednesday night. Pitt defeated Northern Illinois on Monday night to up their record to 8-3.  Pitt is a member of the ACC and Binghamton is 1-7 all-time versus ACC teams.  Binghamton defeated the University of Miami in 2006 in Coral Gables for its lone ACC win.

Following tonight's game the Bearcats don't play again until Sunday, December 29 at 2 PM when they host Hartwick College at the Events Center.  That will close out BU's non-conference portion of the schedule.
