BU Men Open Conference Play at Home vs. New Hampshire

The America East Conference released its schedule for the 2018-19 men's and women's basketball seasons.  The BU men open at home on Saturday, January 5th against the New Hampshire Wildcats.  They will then travel to Long island to meet Stony Brook on Wednesday, January 9th.  The Bearcats then head to UMBC on Wednesday, January 16th and then to Vermont on Saturday, January 19th before returning home to host UMass Lowell on Wed. January 23rd.  The BU men close the regular season at home hosting arch rival Albany on Tuesday, March 5th.

New coach Bethann Shapiro Ord will have the BU women on the road to open conference play on Tuesday, January 2nd as they meet Albany at SEFCU Arena.  The Bearcats then head to New Hampshire on Saturday, January 5th before playing their first home conference game of the season on Wednesday, January 9th against Stony Brook.  The Bearcats close the regular campaign on Saturday, March 2nd by hosting the Maine Black Bears.

Game times will be released at a future date.  The non-conference schedules for both BU teams have not yet been released.  Men's coach Tommy Dempsey did mention that his team will be facing three major programs in their non-conference action.  Binghamton's men will travel to play at Northwestern, Notre Dame and the University of Michigan.
