Broome County Parks Triathlon Set for June 29

The Broome County Parks, Recreation and Youth Services Department has announced that the 2019 Broome County Parks Triathlon will take place on Saturday, June 29 in Dorchester Park in the Town of Triangle.  According to a press release from the department it is the 14th annual Broome County Parks Triathlon.

According to the release there will be three different distances for the race plus two races for kids.  The Triathlon gets under way at 9:00 AM and kids races are scheduled to start at noon.

Participants  must be members of USA Triathlon and can sign up for a single day membership.  Fees are $50 for adults and $15 dollars for kids entrants.

According to the information provided a portion of the proceeds from the Triathlon will benefit the Broome County Parks Handicap Children's Playground Fund.
