This Saturday is a special day that I would like to invite you to participate in. It's the Traci's Hope Annual Fundraiser and BBQ,  being held at the Apalachin Fireman's Field Grounds, just off route 434.  It runs from noon to 5pm, with great food, awesome music and tons of prizes.

Traci's Hope is a not-for-profit fund set up to help Men and Women who are going through breast cancer in our area. The organization pays for many different services that insurance companies don't pay for. Sometimes it is gas cards, or day care. Sometimes it is house cleaning, or mortgage payments. While fighting this disease, the needs could be endless, and nobody should have to do it alone. Traci's Hope is here to make sure everyone gets the support I was so blessed with.

In October of 2006, just days before an annual fund raiser held to support a cause she created, Traci Gibson lost her battle to breast cancer. Now in its 9th year of collecting funds from the community to support families battling cancer, “Traci’s Hope” has continued to grow to help those in need.
