Binghamton’s Ross Park Zoo is hosting a not-so-scary Halloween celebration for children leading up to the annual big scare known as “Boo at the Zoo” toward the end of the month.

Howloween at the Zoo is October 7, 8, 14th and 15th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with special appearances planned for the weekends.

The Binghamton Zoo Express train will also be running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. both weekends. Tickets can be purchased at the zoo ticket booth.

Boo at the Zoo for older children and adults is scheduled for October 20, 21, 27th and 28th from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Tickets for both events are available now at the zoo ticket booth.

More information can be found at www.rossparkzoo.com.

The zoo is located on Morgan Road on Binghamton’s South Side.
