Binghamton University Student Died of Natural Causes

An autopsy has revealed that the unexpected death of a Binghamton University student was the result of natural causes.

The university on Monday announced senior Albert Cruz had died at a hospital shortly after he had been found collapsed in his suite in a dorm on the Vestal campus the previous day.

The autopsy's conclusion was reported by a university spokesman late Tuesday afternoon.

University president Harvey Stenger's initial statement to the campus community extended condolences to those who knew Cruz, who was an English major from the Bronx.
