Comment is being taken on a draft plan on an academic schedule that begins August 26 but limits in-person classes to fewer than 45 students with larger classes held online. All classes would be online after the Thanksgiving break.

There will be no final exams with those tests being replaced with on-going student evaluation during the coursework.

The proposal, which will be finalized and submitted to New York State for approval, also addresses safety outside the classroom with proposals to keep students in Broome County on weekends and a limit on gatherings of no more than ten people.

Other provisions also address testing protocols, how to handle traffic in the dining halls and plans in the event of an outbreak of COVID-19 on campus.
