Binghamton Porchfest Celebrates 10 Years Of Music And Community
Another great thing about summertime is the number of outdoor music events that happen throughout the greater Binghamton area.
One of the many events is about to fill the Westside of Binghamton - the annual Binghamton Porchfest. This year. Binghamton Porchfest is celebrating its 10th anniversary on Sunday, August 31, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
What Is Binghamton Porchfest?
Binghamton Porchfest is a free event, with live music being performed from several residential porches and yards of the Abel Bennett Historic Tract. According to Binghamton Porchfest organizers, this year's festival will feature 130 local and regional bands performing at 60 host locations.
What Type Of Music Will You Hear At Porchfest?
Glad you asked. There will be a diverse range of music, including folk, rock, hip-hop, jazz, heavy metal, country, blues, world music, and punk.
Over the last 10 years, Binghamton Porchfest has grown into one of our area’s most beloved events. It’s a celebration of music and community that puts a spotlight on our neighborhoods and all that makes Binghamton a great place to live. My thanks to organizers Chris Bodnarczuk, Ely Rooney, and Katie Perkins for their endless hard work and dedication in growing this tradition, along with the dozens of hosts, musicians and volunteers who work with the City of Binghamton to make Porchfest possible.
