Thursday night at NYSEG Stadium, World Champion Power Lifter Bill Clark notched another entry into the Guinness Book of World Records.

Bill Clark is world champion powerlifter, he holds more records than we can mention in this article, Bill is also a member of the Greater Binghamton Sports Hall of Fame, among many other honors.

I had the privilege of meeting this amazing man in person last year during a podcast taping, and again a few weeks ago at a gathering for Roger Neel.

Bill talked with me last week on WNBF’s First News Binghamton about his past, present, and future, and without a doubt, he is a man of extreme faith.

Loacl Strongman Breaks License Plate Ripping World Record

Last night, in a charity event to raise money and awareness for the Make a Wish Foundation, Bill put that faith to good use, when he broke his previous Guinness Book of World Record, by tearing apart twenty-nine license plates in one minute.

WNBF and Binghamton sports radio legend Roger Neel served as master of ceremonies.

When Bill completed the one-minute feat of strength, he looked directly at the people in the room and said “this is our record”

I consider Bill a friend, he is a wonderful man who clearly motivates people with his presence.

Congratulations Bill on another entry into the Guinness Book of World Records!

Special thanks to our Binghamton Rumble Ponies for sponsoring this charity event.
