This Wednesday night at 9, the Golf Channel show called 'Vantage Point hosted by Mike Tirico' will feature Binghamton High School graduate and native Barry Goldstein and a very touching story.

Goldstein, who recently was selected by Golf Tips Magazine as one of America's Top 25 Golf Instructors, has been a golf instructor at the Polar Shot Driving Range in Johnson City for 15 of the past 20 years.

During the winter, Goldstein lives in Coral Springs Florida and has appeared several times on the Golf Channel during his career. This Wednesday night's episode will feature Goldstein and one of his students, seventeen-year-old Kody Finn from Parkland Florida.

Finn was a survivor of the tragic school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in February of 2018.

The taping of the episode took place in August of 2018 at the Polar Shot Driving Range and En-Joie Golf Course in Endicott, which Goldstein says is his favorite Golf Course.

In a press release issued by The Polar Shot Driving Range, Kody's parents, Shannon and Wendi Finn were quoted as saying,

"Kody met Barry at the most difficult time in his life”, “Barry has been the most compassionate and positive golf teacher and has given Kody a great outlet through golf. We feel so fortunate to have met him.”

The story will air this Wednesday, March 13th from 9-10 pm on Spectrum Cable Channel 30 or 405 in the Binghamton area. You can also stream it through the Golf Channel app.
