As the Binghamton Devils are in a holding pattern to see when they can get back on the ice they continue to be a major part of our community. They have announced that they are teaming up with the American Red Cross to be part of the New York Hockey Gives Blood initiative. The Devils along with the Rochester Americans and Syracuse Crunch are combining their efforts for the blood drive which will take place on Friday, April 17 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 PM.

American Hockey League teams in New York State are using their contacts, resources and promotional power to help the Red Cross maintain a healthy blood supply for those in need. As fans know Binghamton hockey teams from the Boome Dusters to the Devils have all been heavily involved in our community. With the return to game action unknown the Devils still are impacting this community as are the Americans in Rochester and the Crunch in Syracuse.
