Binghamton Black Bears Teddy Bear Toss Is Coming Back

The Binghamton Black Bears were missing many of their best players on Wednesday, November 24th when they took on Danbury at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena. Despite being short-handed they held a one-goal lead after one period of play but ended falling to the Hat Tricks by a 5-2 score.

They rebounded with two road victories against the Delaware Thunder over the weekend and will return home on Saturday night. It'll be the battle of the best when the Black Bears look to claw the number team in the division, the Watertown Wolves.

Get there early for live music beginning at 5:30 p.m with the puck dropping at 7 p.m. If your looking to save money for the game, here is something that you can do while helping the hungry in the Southern Tier.

Binghamton Black Bears Team With CHOW

The Binghamton Black Bears have teamed up with CHOW (Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse) to offer this great deal for the reason of the season. For every 10 non-perishable food items that you donate, you'll get a "buy one, get one free" ticket voucher.

You can bring them to their front office on the third floor or go to the concourse behind section one on game day. You can also take advantage of this offer on non-game days by stopping by their office Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. You can use it for any upcoming regular-season home game.

Teddy Bear Toss With The Binghamton Black Bears

If you could only come to one game this year then I would suggest, Saturday, December 18th. That's when the Binghamton Black Bears will bring back the Teddy Bear Toss.

We are teaming with the Black Bears and encouraging you to bring a teddy bear or any stuffed animal to throw on the ice. When the Black Bears score their first goal, you will toss your teddy on the ice.

Get there early on the 18th because as often as the Bears score, they will be lighting the lamp early and you won't want to miss pelting the ice with your stuffed animal.

They will be collected and we will join the Black Bears and take them to local kids in need this Christmas season. So while are out shopping the next few weeks, get a stuffed animal to throw on the ice when the Black Bears host Watertown beginning at 7 p.m.
