The Dug Out - Bing Bites With Doug Mosher

I have lived in this community most of my life and have yet to experience some of the great places to enjoy some good food, drink, and atmosphere.

Last week I took a drive down to Apalachin to visit The Dug Out Sports Bar & Pizzeria one of the area's favorite places to gather to watch sports, play some pool or foosball, check out local entertainment, and enjoy some of their award winning foods.

What makes a business a success? All of the things I mentioned above.

I had a chance to visit with the man behind the business, owner Bob Porzucek, a man dedicated to his customers and the quality of his establishment.

I actually went into the kitchen and assisted his cook, Andy, who has worked for Bob for many years.

The Dug Out specialty is their award-winning wings, and after sampling them I can see why.

They have a great menu with several items, all in a family-friendly atmosphere.

The Beach Bar out back provides a Caribbean feel and host many theme nights.
