Bobbleheads are popular. At least that's what I have come to realize. When I first was made aware of bobbleheads, I thought they were strange and so unnecessary. I guess I just didn't see the attraction.

I suppose for those who have their likeness on a bobblehead, it's a cool idea, and maybe gives you a bit of notoriety? I don't know. I don't own any bobbleheads, although I looked into buying a bobblehead of Dwight Schrute from the TV sitcom 'The Office' since I am a fan of the show and he's one of my favorite characters on the sitcom.

Well, when I found out it costs more than I cared to shell out, I shelved that idea. Get it? Shelved that idea, as in putting a bobblehead on a shelf? And that's why  people tell me to leave the comedy to professional comedians.

Anyway, did you know there is a National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum? Well, it does exist, and their latest creation is a Bernie Sanders Inauguration Day Bobblehead. Wow, that came together rather quickly. I didn't catch any of the inauguration ceremonies on Wednesday, so I was a bit behind on trying to understand why Bernie Sanders was showing up in my social media feeds sitting in a chair all bundled up in winter clothing and wearing a face mask.

I guess there's a way to make a buck on almost anything these days. The bobblehead is actually on a pre-sale deal. It won't be available to ship until May. The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is located in Milwaukee and features a lot of celebrity and sports figure bobbleheads.
