Following a week off the Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team swings back into action Saturday with a home game against Division III opponent Elmira College.  Tipoff is set for 4 PM with air at 3:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.

The Bearcats bring a record of 8-6 into play and are 7-2 in their last nine outings.  The two losses have come in the team's last two games.  Binghamton lost at Penn State on December 19th and fell to LIU Brooklyn at the Events Center on December 22nd.

Elmira is 2-6  with wins over Oswego State and St. Lawrence University.  The win over St. Lawrence produced a combined 211 points as the Soaring Eagles outscored SLU 111-100.

Elmira's leading scorer is Henry Cuffee who is averaging 18 points per game.  Right behind him is Hayden Harkins who is scoring at a 16.8 points per game clip.

J.C.Show leads the Bearcats offensively.  Show is averaging 15.3 points per game including making 82 percent of his free throws.  Right behind him is Thomas Bruce who is scoring at a 13.4 points per game clip.  Bruce missed the team's last game against LIU Brooklyn with an ankle injury.

The men's game coupled with the BU women hosting Dartmouth Sunday at 2 PM comprise an "Olum's Pack the House" weekend.  Free ticket coupons are available at Olum's on the Vestal Parkway for both games.  These are available for the first 1,000 coupons redeemed at the Events Center box office.
