Bearcat Sessoms Earns Freshman All-American Honors

Honors continue to come in for Binghamton University freshman standout Sam Sessoms.  Sessoms has been named to the College Insider.Com Kyle Macy Freshman All-America Team.  He also is one of 30 freshmen in the running for National Freshman of the Year honors.

Sessoms ended his season with a points per game average of 17.8.  and 3.5 assists per contest.  He tied a Binghamton University Division I single game record with 34 points against the Hartford Hawks.  Sessoms scored 20 or more points in 12 games this season and was named the America East Rookie of the Week seven times.

Sessoms  was honored as the 2018-19 Rookie of the Year in America East.  He was named to the conference's All-Rookie Team and was a Third-Team America East All-Conference Team.
