Barn Fire in Town of Chenango Draws a Half-Dozen Fire Departments

Officials are investigating the cause of a fire in the Town of Chenango that damaged a small storage barn and destroyed a vehicle inside.

The blaze on Wilson Hill Road was reported shortly before 6 last evening.

There were no injuries.

Town of Chenango, Choconut Center, Chenango Bridge, East Maine, Prospect Terrace and Five Mile Point firefighters were all called to the smokey blaze.

Officials said the barn had apparently been used for storage and there were no animals inside.
