B.C. Transit is adding stops to the bus line to include locations where free meals are being distributed to children age 18 and younger who are out of school during the COVID-19 shut-down.

The 20 stops are at schools and other distribution sites between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. weekdays.

The new stops are to aid in the school meal distribution effort.

Two meals are being made available to children age 18 and under as schools were ordered closed through April 13, leaving several families with children at home who normally would be getting breakfast and lunch at school.
