Val started working at WRRV back in 2005, and after a short hiatus doing radio elsewhere, she has been back and hosting the midday show since 2018. Val loves to take a deep dive into all things alternative rock related, especially when it comes to the '90's and 2000s, hence her love for the WRRV Throwback at 12 (Monday - Saturday 12pm-1pm). Always down for a show, Val loves to catch her favorite bands (Shinedown, Pearl Jam, AJR, Coldplay) on tour, and is always up for experiencing new artists live. Val is a Hudson Valley native, and when she isn't at the radio station, is usually on some sort of adventure with her 8 year old daughter.

When is the New York State Burn Ban in Effect?
A burn ban will go into effect in New York State on March 16th and run through May 14th, and those who don't adhere are subject to criminal and civil enforcement actions with a $500 minimum fine for the first offense.
