I studied in school to be an architect. somewhere along the way, the lines drawn strayed from buildings to the radio business. Not sure how that happened, but it did. And I'm happy, but I do enjoy the architecture of buildings.

When I was first looking for a home to buy, I have in mind something more modern. Maybe no more than 30 years old, because I didn't really have any desire for an older home.

But my tastes have changed and I grew an appreciation for the beauty of an older home. Especially ones that have been kept up and appear as if they were recently built. From time to time, when I get a free moment, I like to look at real estate sites and check out the photos of homes for sale.

Some of these homes for sale really catch my eye, both modern and older, especially Victorian-style homes. And I found one that really looks beautiful that is just under a two-hour drive northwest of Binghamton.

It's a brick Victorian home in Waterloo, New York, which is located just west of Seneca Falls, nestled in between the finger Lakes of Seneca and Cayuga. That part of New York State is amazing in itself.

This home has seven bedrooms and four bathrooms. Maybe it could be a future bed and breakfast or Airbnb. Enjoy the pictures below of this Victorian brick home located at 105, North Virginia Street, Village of Waterloo in Seneca County, New York.
