The bad weather is coming and municipalities in the Greater Binghamton area will be enforcing their Winter parking rules

The Village of Port Dickinson has implemented their 24-hour alternate side of the street street parking, vehicles should be parked for the next day at 5pm with vehicles on the odd side of the street, if the next day is an odd number calendar day.

The City of Binghamton and the Village of Johnson City will start their alternate street parking on December 1st with the same rules applying, vehicles should be parked for the next day at 5pm with vehicles on the odd side of the street, if the next day is an odd number calendar day.

The Village of Endicott will enforce their winter parking restrictions effective December 1st  with no parking or stopping of any motor vehicle on any village streets, and in municipal parking lots between the hours of 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM, unless otherwise posted. There will also be restrictions in certain locations in the village where parking is prohibited from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM after a snow emergency, to allow for snow removal.

The Town of Vestal winter parking rules also go into effect on December 1st   There is no on-street parking anywhere within the Town between the hours of 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM from December 1st through March 31st.

The Town of Union winter parking rules will begin December 1st  There is no parking on any roadway in the Town of Union after a 2’ snowfall, violators are subject to being ticketed and/or towed at the owners expense.

The Town of Chenango will begin their winter overnight parking restrictions on November 15th through April 15th no owner or operator of a motor vehicle shall park unattended on any Town street or highway or county highway within the Town of Chenango between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m
