The All Nations Celebration organized by the American Civic Association will be held this Saturday June 8 beginning at 10:30 A.M. The event begins at Binghamton City Hall at 38 Hawley Street with various speakers and immigrants.  At 11:00 A.M. a parade of people representing various cultures will proceed from City Hall to the American Civic Association at 131 Front Street.

Following a ceremony in front of the American Civic Association participants and guests are invited inside for cultural food, live performances and music. In information supplied by the American Civic Association the All Nations Celebration also highlights the recent news that the American Civic Association has been chosen to be an Opportunity Center through grant funding by the Opportunity Center for the Office for New Americans.

One of only 13 such centers in New York state the Opportunity Center in conjunction with Journey's End will be able to provide on-site immigration lawyers and will be able to assist in the naturalization process.  The public is invited to attend the morning ceremonies at Binghamton City Hall and at the American Civic Association with events til 3:00 P.M.
