The Southern Tier of New York does not lack for historical places. Our area is rich with historical buildings with a great story to tell from each. I love the architecture of a beautiful building.

My goal as a teenager was to become an architect, because of my love for building design. Somehow, I got sidetracked and ended up in radio. Not sure how that happ[ened, but, oh well.

Recently, I decided to search for area buildings that are on the National Register of Historical Places through Wikipedia, and found a lot. There are few I was not aware of. Take a look at six local landmarks that are on the National Register of Historic Places.
