The 2020 Spiedie Fest& Balloon Rally has officially been put on hold.  Organizers today said that due to concerns over the Coronavirus pandemic the annual celebration that was scheduled at Otsiningo Park from July 31 to August 2 is postponed indefinitely.

Several news outlets such as 12 News, Fox 40, Newschannel 34, and Pressconnects report festival organizer Dave Pessagno said the Spiedie Fest could tentatively take place in October.  The situation with the pandemic and whether or not restrictions still would prevent large gatherings are the keys in planning for a fall date.

This was to be the 36th Spiedie Fest and Balloon Rally.  The weekend usually draws between 80 and 100 thousand people.  It draws vendors from all over the eastern part of the country.  Along with spiedies and other great food visitors get the chance to take in music performances, shop, visit a car show and if the weather is right watch a wide array of hot-air balloons launch several different times.
